Privacy notice

Plain-English summary of what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to exercise your rights. The formal version is at /terms.

What we collect

Email and phone number, for transactional and (with consent) marketing comms.
Postcode, for cohort matching only. Not full address.
Age bracket, club affiliation, cultural interests.
Liveness selfie at signup. Destroyed within 24 hours.
Face vector hash to prevent duplicate enrolment.
Optional voice template if you enable voice biometric.
Survey responses (text, audio, video) and their transcripts.
Reward issuance records.
Anti-fraud signals (device fingerprint, IP) under legitimate interest.

If you answer a survey without an account

Our surveys are open: you can answer one without registering. We still store what you tell us, so here is exactly what that means.

We store your answers as you go, from the first section onward, so you can stop and pick up later and so a part-finished survey still counts as research.
An answer given without an account carries no name, email or phone number. We hold it as research data on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding sports fans, not as a profile of you.
If you go on to register, your answers are linked to your member record, and the consents you give at registration govern everything we do beyond research, including anything we send you.
We keep an unregistered response for up to 24 months, then delete it.
You can ask us to delete it sooner. Because there is no account to sign in to, email dpo@monterosa.co with the reference shown on the screen at the end of the survey, and we will remove it.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection.

Right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
ADMT-related rights in California (opt-out of significant-decision ADMT).
Limit-of-use of sensitive PI in CCPA states.
